By now you have probably heard the catchy tune Fireflies by Owl City.
When I first heard this on the popular music radio station I asked Jess what she thought The Postal Service fans were going to do now that The Post Service was mainstream.
Now I just listened to Owl City close up and am somewhat offended by the low quality ripoff of The Postal Service.
Edit: And Owl City uses auto-tune.
Edit: I Hate Owl City (I listened to three more songs).

ReplyDeleteOwl City is some kid who got famous through myspace. His name is Adam Young, not to be confused with the far cooler and possible savant Adam Youch.
Postal Service is an actual group and they are led by Ben Gibbard, who is married to Zooey Deschanel and I just learned from wiki that he is the singer for Deathcab for Cutie (which I have never listened to and do not intend to).
