Ok Blogger formatting be damned. Again, we correctly predicted the Cy Young winner in NL as we did the AL. The writers again got it wrong though. We had Cliff Lee in 2nd and Hallady 3rd. Ian Kennedy was awesome this year, but the fact that the Diamondbacks got to the playoffs is not supposed to factor into the decision. We had him tied for 5th. Other than that, things look fairly similar between ours and "theirs". So how bad was our metric for pitchers this year? We correctly identified the top pitchers in each league. Some analysis this winter will seek to further validate/tweak the metric.
Next week will will look at the MVP!
