World Series: a global affair?

If you have not heard yet, Bud Selig is thinking about making the world series champions of the US and Japan play each other to see who is the real world series champion. Here is an article linking to Hideki Matsui discussing it. Thoughts are welcome.

  1. I hate it. If we want a more international thing, then why don't we have a team in Mexico or Puerto Rico?

  2. i've always thought that the whole "World" Champion title was hilarious given the fact that we only play teams from America (minus a couple from America Jr.).

  3. Would we crush them every year?

The best japanese players make it into the mlb, but the majority of them probably wouldn't make it.

Plus, out guys use hgh, so we would have that on our side too.
