Baseball Organizational analysis

  1. I would rather be brewers fan than a pirates fan. So I don't completely agree with the ER. It does point out some good things though.

    Also after the cubs have been embarassed with their 28th place finish it should be noted that they are prepping for a 30th place finish for the next decade.

  2. I agree with all. The ER needs to be tweeked by Bill James or open sourcing, but it is a great start.

    Interesting, but the results are what one would expect for the most part.

    I think that the reverse order draft and luck are why the Marlins appear to be such a good value. Teams that suck (no playoff appearances) should not be considered "value" teams.

  3. I think the article should also point out teams revenues. I want to see how profitability compares to spending and success.
