Home Brew Update pt.2

I bottled the Belgian Dubbel that I brewed like a month ago.

On another note. I am really debating on picking up some more equipment. I was thinking a glass carboy for primary fermentation so I can better see what is going on. I could then also use my bucket for a secondary fermenter.

Kegorator. Bottling beer is a pain in the ass. Kegorator is expensive, and normal ones need to be converted(not that expensive, but adds to the cost) for use with Ball Lock Keg from your normal Sanke Keg.

  2. ps. I had to hang out with that emily thing for most of saturday. It was weird because I didn't know if Jerylin told her what I was saying and cause every time i looked at her i vomited a little in my mouth.

Long story short Jessi can't believe Pat thinks she is attractive either.

  3. How are you cooling down your beer? Ice in the sink method? Wort chiller? That might be a decent upgrade.

  4. I say totally get a keg refridgerator. Even if it has too many disadvantages for homebrewing, you can still buy and keep cold kegs of beer in a home bar. (And it would be way cool to build your own.)

Why did you have to hang out with Emily, just tell Diz she is ugly and you shouldn't have to anymore. I would hate it if I was dating an uggo and noone told me the truth.

Pat must be sticking up for her because she is Jerylin's friend. Jessi is hilarious for admitting how ugly that uggo is.

  5. My new method for chilling beer is putting ice directly into the bucket, then pouring the wort right on top of it. That and some cold water gets it down most of the way.

If I do build my own kegorator i'm not sure if it will be able to handle a real keg, but it is about 400 dollars cheaper.

Either way I just reminded myself how much bottling sucks, and it sucks more to do it alone. That makes some sort of keging system look awesome.

  6. So the ice helps you get to the desired 5 gallon mark when it melts? Why didn't we do that?
