NPB(No problem baby(Not Jamaican, but I just made it up. They do say No Problem a lot))
Jamaica was awesome. I would definitely recommend going there at some point in your life. Also, sandals was awesome. The one we stayed at(Dunn's River) more awesome than the one just down the road(Grande Ocho Rios), so definatily do your research. Plenty to do and good food/top shelf liquor included. Many activities also included(scuba diving(after taking 80 dollar course), glass bottom boat, snorkeling, ping pong, many other water sports, and some other on land games. They also tried real hard to provide night time entertainment, which was mostly dancing to hip hop which older white people don't like.
Landing in Jamaica was one of the craziest experiences of my life. When we landed it was rain storming because we came during rainy season(weather was great every day but that one). There where many Jamaican men there who just carry your bags automatically to the buses and then demand a tip in return. Then the bus drove us strait east along the north coast from Montego Bay to just outside of Ocho Rios. The entire trip looking out the window you could see how different the North side of the island was compared to att merica. The way they just build shacks along the road out of whatever they can find and live in them.
Everyone in Jamaica drives like a fucking maniac leading me to believe that the DMV doesn't exist down there. We got dropped off at our resort finally(which had two pool bars) and the driver basically demanded a tip. Resort life was much different from the shred of jamaica I saw from the bus. They demanded you not tip them and everyone was real friendly. On the resort most of the workers spoke english unless talking to each other, whereas at the airport they all basically just spoke Jamaican Patois(wikipedia it if neccessary), which is impossible to understand.
