The Boston Red Sox hired Bill James in their front office.
This is strong evidence that the team is managing or decision making in accordance with sabermetric or "moneyball" principles.
I do, however, that the team seems divided, making some smart moves, and some traditional old baseball moves.

I watched this the other day. Bill James I believe understates his value, but it is hard to tell how much he is involved with.
Warning. A lot less Bill James than their should be.
