Some benchmarks

Got a new graphics card and RyDub and I were curious about the performance. From what I saw online this card was pretty fast. The card I bought was a Gigabyte GTX 660 ti and upgrading from a Gigabyte Radeon 6850. All settings max at 1920x1080. No optimizations/customizations made in the driver settings. Here are the results from Unigine Heaven v3.0.

660ti

You can see for this DX11 benchmark with all settings on max, vsync off, at 1920x1080 the 660ti has a little bit more than twice the performance of my 6850. I can't wait to play Borderlands 2.

RyDub. Run this on your PC and share. Same settings though for comparison.

  2. No problem. Sadly it is really the only benchmark that I can do easily besides 3Dmark, but that won't let you do full resolutions unless you go pro. I think this is a pretty good metric.

  3. I agree. How long did it take to complete?

  4. Only a few minutes to run the benchmark. Installing the card/drivers/etc.. takes the longest time.
