Samsung makes their own screens for the last two nexus phones. I believe they invented the curved screens, and with those they cannot use gorilla glass.
Pat owns the Nexus S and I don't think he's had an issue with it, and the curved screen feels so damned good.
The plot thickens a little bit. Also, the Droid 4 was shown on engadget today. The major selling point of this phone is again vanilla android. Eagerly awaiting reviews.

True. It's just the PenTile screen and now no gorilla glass. It's just not 100% what i wanted in a phone. I'll still end up buying it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the curved glass does feel amazing against your face and to use in your hands. My cousin has one and i got to play with it the other day.
