So all my computer parts should be here by Friday afternoon, Monday afternoon at the latest. I'm trying to decide whether i will install Windows 7 32 or 64 bit. What are your thoughts?
Without question the 64bit version. I know of almost nothing these days that won't run right on the 64bit version. Also, many games and applications can take advantage of the 64bit features. 64bit all the way.
Yeah, i didn't even think to include my GPU's RAM into the equation. If i had an even 4 gigs of RAM, i don't know if i would go with the 64. I probably would though.

ReplyDelete32 bit windows only supports about 3.5 gigs of ram(virtual ram lowers the theoretical amount).
ReplyDeleteGPU's have their own cpu's so you don't need to worry about that ram.
