Pujols is worth that 25 million Ryan Howard got if we use real value. If we use market value, then he is worth more than the Pirates payroll. We are not in good fiscal shape, but we are making due with shit people and people who have yet to get up to their normal performances. I do hope we clean house someday, but it is too early this year. In other news, fuck the Stros.

ReplyDeleteThe way it is put there is 11 million club option and a 5 million buyout. I think it is broken up like that because the 5 million is guaranteed.
