My new thing is to ride a bike while walking my dog in order to tire her out and drain her energizer bunny-like amounts of energy. After I biked the dog I put my bike away and got her some water inside, at this time I asked my girlfriend if she would like to walk around the block with us, thinking the dog like humans would benefit from a cool down walk. Well, girlfriend had just finished making a sandwich and seemed busy and since the dog started to lay down on the ground I said forget it and left for the walk.
So then later a quarrel ensued about something or other but then the funny thing happened. Girlfriend said why didn't you think about calling before and asking if I wanted to go on the walk:
Could you imagine! Riding a bike while holding a dog on a leash in one hand and operating a telephone with the other!
Could you imagine!
