Evoland & DLC Quest

I'll be reviewing two indie games that I've found very exciting and a bit different recently. The first is Evoland. It's a cool little game that takes you through the evolution of RPG/action adventure games. You start off in a very pixelated world; there isn't even any sound. As you progress through the game, you go from 8-bit graphics to HD. Other elements, like being able to save and turn based battles are introduced along the way as well.

DLC Quest is a game that pokes fun at, and maybe shows a glimpse into the future of gaming where you have to purchase "DLC" (downloadable content) just to enable sound or even character animations. Thank god we're not there yet. As you play the game, you collect coins and then use these coins to unlock said "DLC."
