For like the last 5-8 years I have thought the astros have been a better rival than the cubs for the cardinals. This sucks because the gaystros aren't good very much. So I was hoping the Cubs would be good again this year, but as expected they are fucking terrible.
So who would rival the cards this year?
The Reds!?!?!?!?!?
Well, the problem is if I had to choose a second favorite team from the central over the last couple years, it would be the reds. This bothers me because I couldn't bring myself to hate them(especially since 5 former cardinals including rolen and cub fan favorite edmonds). That was until Brandon Phillips decided to be a prick, leading to this epic battle on the diamond.
