NeverWet
The superhydrophobic compound known as NeverWet is now available for purchase at your local Home Depot. I believe capital_prototype posted something like this awhile ago.

PS4 vs. X-Box One
Here are the top 12 sellers in "video games" on Amazon as of 06/19/2013.
Sure the X-Box one is #1, but the PS4 takes the #3,4,5,8,10 spots! Wow. I wonder what the aggregate numbers are? PS4 seems to be winning hard. Oh and the dual-shock 4 takes the #9 spot and the Playstation-Network pass takes #6. That is 7 out of the top 10 spots!

Modern thoughts about tech/thoughts about modern tech
- What is a core?
- There is more than one cloud.
- Why are PC monitors so expensive at high resolutions?
- Why does my windows 7 machine still not understand two finger scrolling?
- Plastic should no longer be a design material for laptops.
- When your laptop from 5 years ago had a better screen than your new one then shart.
- Why do projectors still not play nice with lappy tops?
- Why does every PC OEM battery suck?
- Who is buying 17" gaming laptops?
- Not all GHz are created equal.
- Why do we not use only open source standards? (sorry thunderbolt and HDMI)
- Electric cars need these numbers clearly displayed: cost per mile (CPM) and total range (TR).
- Once all PC games are written with open source technology (i.e. opengl) and are available on linux then I will never need to use Windows again.

Rage Against The Machine doesn't do what you tell them
Rage Against The Machine was on BBC Radio 5 back in 2009 to promote a battle with them and X Factor's winner to be at the top of the charts for Christmas. Fans started this campaign as a "protest" against the pop music being promoted around the time. Anyway, before they were on, the people at BBC had asked Rage to play a clean version of the song, omitting the infamous chorus of "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" at the end of the song. The band told them that they would omit it but come on, did anyone really expect them to keep their promise on this? Here's a YouTube video of the incident. Everyone with half a brain had to see this coming from a mile away. Then the female broadcaster has the audacity to proclaim "so buy Joe's [the X Factor winner] records" just because they cursed on air. Wahhhh. (Article about the incident)
