NFL Draft: Open Thread, Go Bears!

Ok. Tonight the draft starts. I want the Bears to own this draft. My ideal mock situation is something like

Round 1: DE
Round 2: G/OL
Round 3: WR
Round 4: CB
Round 5: Def
Round 6: QB
Round 7: Def

Who fills in these blanks?

Round 1, the Bears could select Illinois DE Whiteny Mercilus or another DE like Quinton Coples from UNC.

Round 2: IDK. Some big white guy from the Big 10.

Round 3: Juron Criner from Arizona!

Round 4: Jayron Hosley from Virginia Tech

Round 5: ....

Round 6: Kellen Moore from Boise State (why not?????)

Round 7: ...

Anyway, I want to keep this open over the next few days as the Bears fill in these picks. BEAR DOWN!

What? It's Saturday? What happened to Friday? Let's just say that Sawsheezle got lost in some really experimental electronics work and hence this post is overdue. Also, here's a cool little test you can do. Sawsheezle and i have discussed the quality of v0 MP3 vs FLAC for some time now. I don't believe you can tell the difference between the two (in terms of audio quality). Now of course MP3 is lossy, so for archival purposes you're going to want to go with FLAC, but that eats up HDD space like mad. So what about for playback on your pod phone or whatnot? v0 MP3 is gonna be just as good, but at a much smaller file size.

Sawsheezle, i'd like you to take this test and report back what your findings are. I will do the same.

Jumper (I Mean Looper!) Trailer!

Ok. It is different, but I immediately thought of Jumper when I saw this. It looks cool, but the whole space-time continuum thing is always tricky. If you kill yourself in the present, do you die in the future? If you kill your future self, does that mean that you will die at your own hands one day? What if you changed something? Could you kill that future version of yourself, but still survive as the real future version of yourself? This opens the whole debate about which timeline/universe (Fringe!) is the "right" or "real" one. All in all, I love these kinds of movies.
