The first thing to know about shaving is that it begins well before you actually put the razor to your face. Ideally, it begins when you wake up. You should wake up with the mindset that you are going to shave that morning. You should probably plant that idea in your head the night before as well thought out shaves often provide the most satisfaction. If you can't do this on your own, I do run an Inception business on the side. In unrelated news, after watching that movie I thought it was a comedy not unlike how Capital_Prototype thought "The Wrestler" was supposed to be a comedy but turned out to be a serious movie-film. Anyway, back to the pre-shave routine; it is a vital part of the overall shave experience: a bad preparation will result in a less than ideal shave. Shaving is supposed to be an enjoyable experience, so why not pamper yourself?
One of the secrets to a great shave is moisture. Unlike with those electric razors that want your face as dry as possible, a shave with a razor blade should be done under moist conditions. Your face should be well hydrated for reasons twofold: one, it will help prevent you from getting razor burn and cutting yourself and two, your facial hair will be at its softest and easiest to cut when it is well hydrated. Moisture is king. To ensure a well hydrated shave, always shave right after you get out of the shower. Try not to dry off your face if you can because the towel will absorb the moisture from your face and dry it out again. Another thing to make sure is that you wash your face in the shower. Any soap or wash or scrub will be fine, but you can maximize your goal of hydration by using a product that will help to moisturize your face. To do this, use an oil based product that will simultaneously clean your face and moisturize it. A favorite example of the sheezle's is Noxzema.
To use the Noxzema, simply rub it all over your face and let stand for a minute or so. Try to use the product as the last thing you do in the shower so as to prevent yourself from clogging up those pores with some fancy conditioner that you will rinse out of your hair. Give the Noxzema a shot before you shave the next time, it may be the first step towards taking your shave to the next level.

Oh Yeah
Drinking beers. Sober though.
Marino + Labine + Harrison + Black = ??? (For you to answer)
The answer to the above is awesomeness.
Ultra sober though.
Bridesmaids was awesome.
Have you ever checked out http://www.ape-index.com/? My ape index is 1.06 as I have a 6'3" wingspan. What is yours?

On a night
I am drinking a little bit right now.
I am watching the Scott Pilgrim movie.
I was listening to Imogen Heap earlier.
I weighed in at 208 the other night.
Does anyone know anything about Trader Joes colon cleanse?

Buster Poser
I don't believe the hype with this kid, but he has now broken his leg and the Giants are calling for the MLB to change the rules regarding home plate collisions. Let me just say that you should not have your catcher as the best player on your team. Move that guy to first base or somewhere else. Joe Mauer stands out as well. Catchers are going to be disposable so don't rely on them to be your best.

Mad(dest) Love?
I just watched the Mad Love season/series finale and I must say that I need more. How was this show cancelled? I have to know what happens. I am also openly proposing marriage to Judy Greer if she will have me. My resume states that I am a hard doctoral type physics ninja who likes strong confident women who are at the top of their field. I hope she will consider my proposition. As for Labine, he will go on to do great things even if he has direct competition in the form of Herschman.

Rob Lowe is Literally Not Funny
Rob Lowe's character is void of humor on Parks and Recreation. Every time he is on the screen its like a black hole of funny.
Clearly this is just an attempt to put a famous person on screen to act like a unfunny fool a la Steve Carel for ratings.

Mad Love Axed
I think its because it has the most unrealistic plot of all time: someone not finding Judy Greer insanely desirable.
That is the dumbest thing since John Krasinski dumped Rashida Jones for boring stupid worthless idiot secretary Pam. Like, do you want to date a hotter AND more successful girl Jim? No? Really? Really!!!

Hard Sci-Fi
***Update - I am on my 6th alcoholic beverage. It is 1000 degrees here in the desert and I don't have a fan blowing. This is now the 127th day of summer here in Tucson.
Ok, this fur assumes that all of the fur-fathers (admins) have beyond a working knowledge of the Ken Marino Starz! saga "Party Down" and can empathize with Martin Starr's character Roman and his love for "hard" Sci-Fi. In summary, if you like hard Sci-Fi, then just be warned that it doesn't get any harder than Fringe.
